General Education Short-Term Certificate

Bevill State’s Academic Transfer Division offers a Short Term Certificate in General Education for those applicants that complete the requisite number of courses in Area I through Area V.

Career Technical Education

The Career Technical Education Division is responsible for all non- health related skills training in the College service area. The Division is tasked with offering comprehensive workforce and community development service training to support the needs of the communities served. The Division offers programs of study that lead to Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degrees, long-term certificates, short-term certificates, and certificates of completion.

Health Sciences

HEALTH SCIENCES INFORMATION

The Health Science Division offers programs of student leading to the Associate in Applied Science degree in Medical Assisting Technology (MAT), and Nursing, Long-term Certificate in Practical Nursing, and Short-term Certificates in Paramedic, Emergency Medical Technician Basic, Emergency Medical Technician Advanced, Surgical Technology, Sterile Processing Technician and Medical Assisting Technology. Certificates of Completion for one semester, are offered in phlebotomy and Sterile Processing Technology.

Academic Transfer

PROGRAMS OF STUDY

Bevill State’s Academic Transfer Division offers two associate degrees and one general education short-term certificate. The Associate in Arts (AA) degree is an undergraduate award signifying successful completion of a prescribed course of study (60 to 64 semester credit hours) designed for students planning to transfer to a senior institution to pursue a baccalaureate degree in the liberal arts.
