Adult Education ESL instructors work with adults whose first language is not English. ESL classes help those not fluent and literate in English to communicate effectively by developing their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Topics in citizenship, vocabulary building, employment training, personal paperwork, health, and emergency life skills are all part of the curriculum. ESL programs are designed to help adults acquire the skills they need to meet personal, vocational, academic, community and employment goals. (se habla espaƱol -800-648-3271 ext.5736).
